Midway Gardens Mural 8" Round Trivet
This design was adapted from a detail of one of several murals at Midway Gardens, an entertainment complex in Chicago that Frank Lloyd Wright designed in 1913. The Midway Garden included an indoor restaurant, dance hall, a five-tiered outdoor summer garden with band shell, a tavern, and a private club. He personally designed all elements in the complex including art glass, light fixtures, furniture, murals, all the way down to the napkin rings.
